Nelson R. Parks – Last Will & Testament

In the Name of God Amen I Nelson R. Parks of the town of Cortland Dekalb
county state of Illinois of the age of Fifty six years and being of sound mind
and memory do make publish and declare that this my last will and testament in
the manner following that is to say:

First - That all my just debts and funeral expenses to be paid.
Second - I give and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth Parks what she would receive
by right of dower at the expiration of five years from the date of my death.
Thirdly, I give and devise to all my sons and daughters all the rest residual
and remainder of all my real estate and personal property to be divided
equally between them at the expiration of five years from the date of my
death, their names being Frank L. Parks, Almon F. Parks, Avis A. Parks, Adda
E. Parks, Nelson R. Parks, Earl Parks.

In witness where I have hereunto let my hand and seal this fourteenth day of
January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty. Nelson

And Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my brother Almon F. Parks to be
the executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former
wills by me made.
