Frederick Aves died at his home in Kingston last Sunday.  He was born July 27, 1813, in Germany. 
He was married the first time in 1842.  This union was blessed with four children.  The wife and one
child died forty-one years ago.  In 1853 he was married the second time, which union was rewarded
with five children.  The second wife died ten years ago.  Father Aves was converted in 1870 and
joined the Evangelical church of which he remained a faithful member to his death.  His demise was
caused by inflammation of the stomach, from which he suffered four days.  His age was 80 years and
9 months.  There are surviving eight children, twenty grandchildren, two brothers, one sister and many
other relatives and friends.  The funeral services were held from the German church on Tuesday, Rev.
Reese officiating.
