June 19, 1886 the following persons met at the grave yard to elect trustees for the Pennsylvania Settlement Cemetery.

The meeting
called to order by Geo. Sweeney elected Chairman of the meeting and R. B.
Proctor, Secretary.
The following persons were elected trustees for five years.

Chosen to see and get title to the Old Pennsylvania Settlement Cemetery.
The trustees are also authorized to see
Albert Field and get authorization and money that is in his hands for fencing
and fixing the grave yard to use the
same for fencing and fixing the ground adjoined.
July 3, 1943 the Annual Meeting of the Roseland Cemetery Assoc. was held
at the Cemetery Grounds at 2:00 P.M.
It was moved and seconded and carried that the directors review the bylaws
making such changes as are necessary.
Moved and seconded and carried that the name of this association be officially
changed from The Pennsylvania
Settlement Cemetery Association to Roseland Cemetery
Association.
Fairdale, ILL. July 15, 1943 Meeting of Trustees of Pennsylvania Settlement
Cemetery Association be held at home
of Pres. Mr. Willie Wilson, motion made by Dr. U. A. Graves seconded and
carried that the Secretary write to
Secretary of State to find necessary procedurefor changing name of Association.
